on the prowl in kensal rise

popped out for a little bike ride today and spotted a couple of foxy foxes...not sure who they are by...hopefully not just some new viral marketing for estate agents Foxtons!  also stopped for a cuppa at Harvist Tearoom and had a chat with the lovely german waitress about our love for our bikes as she was admiring Onbie with all its new bike accessories that i purchased in my favourite dutch winkel HEMA at the weekend in Brussells. and later i spotted this little cutie................woof!

LOVE IT / HATE IT

THINGS

one of my absolute favourite places to visit in London is the Wellcome Collection as its a "free destination for the incurably curious".  i'm looking forward to their upcoming "Things" exhibition as they invite the public to "bring a thing, no bigger than your head" to the home of the world's greatest collector, Henry Wellcome.....now what shall i bring....hmmmm....

bike shelf

another cool bike holder to add to the list spotted via the cool hunter.  stylish and practical...designed by Chris Bigham of Knife&Saw in San Francisco...see his other design work here

mattress update

just a handful of the latest mattress-spotting..

at the end of summer...under the westway in Blagrave Road, W10 (15th August)
and a month later...by the phone booth in Harlesden Plaza, NW10 (15th September)
...cycling along near home i spotted this one on Springwell Ave, NW10 (19th September)...
and just along the same road...another one...behind an ornate iron gate.

on my bicycle to the local caff in Kensal Rise last weekend i spotted two on Holland Road, NW10
on the way to work this week in Kingsley Road, Hounslow....
i must add that i have seen many, many, many more abandoned mattresses in the last few weeks...but i can't always get my phone out quick enough to take photos...but they are there...and i have spotted them!
