some beautiful flowers i bought from Scarlet & Violet, another lovely shop on Chamberlayne Road. they look gorgeous in my ceramic jug with one of my vintage rose trays. this wonderful florist not only provides stunning flower arrangements for weddings, events and delivered to your home, but also have a selection of great vases, jugs and other flower receptacles in store.
a few ramblings about things i love, people i admire, places i've been and things i've seen...but most important of all the many mattresses i find abandoned in and around London NW10 aka MATTRESSLAND

8 station terrace
i strayed a little further from my usual 3 kensal rise caffs (Graceland, D'Angelos & Minkis) and decided to check out 8 station terrace and it was well worth it. the decor is very school-chic, with the by now ubiquitous quirky art for sale lining the walls and the coffee was delicious. the menu looked good and the staff very friendly so i shall definitely be returning to eat one evening...the waitress highly recommended the weekend breakfasts too!
