a few ramblings about things i love, people i admire, places i've been and things i've seen...but most important of all the many mattresses i find abandoned in and around London NW10 aka MATTRESSLAND

Old Raj Gin
after a swift tasting in a little local deli in Clifton the other day, i managed to get my mitts on some rather delicious gin which i will be saving for a special occasion. made by Aberdeen's Cadenhead distillery Old Raj Gin is distinctive in that it contains a measure of saffron, the rare and costly spice derived from the crocus flower. In addition to a slightly spicy flavour, this also imparts a pale yellow colour to Old Raj.
