pre-mattress mattressland

before NW10 was filled with abandoned mattresses, pound shops and loud-speaker wielding god-botherers - it looked like this...

look...the Jubilee Clock...and my, how wide the road is without those horrid traffic lights...and in the distance...Park Parade where i live....and isn't it odd that it looks like everyone in the pictures are looking directly to camera...spooky.

i took a leisurely stroll along the Grand Union Canal today...from Willesden Junction to Westbourne Park...it was pretty cold, and grey...but lovely...and i spotted several birds, cyclists, boats,2 men carrying a mattress (but sadly they were too far away to capture on the camera) and in the distance the wonderful Trellick Tower....
