bunnies, buttons and boys

went on the monthly first thursday east london art crawl event the other night and wandered the wonderfully eerie cobbled streets of Bethnal Green popping into little doorways to catch random shows, thru Jack the Ripper's old stalking grounds and along the delightfully curry aroma'd Brick Lane, past the bunnies in Old Spitalfields Market and on to Liverpool Street station with the Gherkin looming overhead.

the purpose of attending the art crawl was to see friend of a friend, guglielmo alfarone from Italy's work as part of the Unusual View show at the oxford house gallery - fantastic.

not only was he lovely and talented but he also put on a show by completing a piece of work in the gallery which was awesome...

his lovely girlfriend elena cardellini also showed some wonderful belly button paintings which i fell in love with...
i want this mini one...

and if i could...i'd have this big one...
