Went to see the new Star Trek, chronicling the early days of the crew members of the Starship Enterprise, the other day. Directed by Lost creator JJ Abrams and starring the fab Zachary Quinto of Heroes fame as the young Spock.


Am not really a big trekkie - always thought James T Kirk was hilariously camp and OTT


but actually preferred later characters (7 of 9) but it was a thoroughly enjoyable flick with some totally awesome spaceships (especially the Romulan craft) and reminded me of the Glenn Brown exhibition i just saw at the Liverpool Tate.
