saw the awesome Gil Scott-Heron at Somerset House last night with Noreen....he wowed the crowd with his mellifluous musings and when it was just him on the mike, or the piano, it was fantastic. sadly the band were just a bit too noodly and up-tempo...but all in all it was great. i particularly enjoyed the gulls flying overhead throughout, the fab surroundings...and Gil giving a heckler what for.....by telling her she shoulda shouted her shit before he got on stage, now it was his time to do HIS SHIT...quite!
