Balbegno Castle

i am always on the lookout for fabulous venues for party weekends having had a wonderful time at Cliff Barns in Norfolk a few years ago for my 40th birthday, followed by a friend's 40th at their other venue Carrington House  a couple of years later. so i was delighted to discover Balbegno Castle in Kincardineshire, Scotland.  Balbegno Castle is a 1560s castle which has been refurbished and decorated by those lovely people at Pedlars - stylish and comfortable it's now available to rent as a holiday home....now i just need an excuse to go!  luckily they have a competition running (details here) so fingers crossed i am in with a chance...just need to decide which lucky 13 of my closest friends i would like to take with me!
