i am absolutely in love with these beautiful kaleidoscopic creations from Brooklyn based designer shabd simon-alexander. who said tie-dye's just for hippies...this stuff is absolutely gorgeous (spotted via a cup of jo). shabd uses delicate natural fabrics in simple shades....aren't they just perfect for summer....sigh....
hi! i just saw your message on my blog-i have bags at couverture but no clothes in shops there. i sell on my site though with a return policy to make sure you like what you get. let me know if there are any london shops i SHOULD be in and ill do my best! i love your mattress photos btw! xo,shabd
ReplyDeletethanks! actually i know someone who has fairly recently opened a gorgeous little boutique nearby in what is fast becoming a trendy little area of north London - Kensal Rise (just nextdoor to mattressland but much more gentrified!) and would be perfect.
ReplyDeletethe shop is called Love KR and the lovely lady who runs it is called Paula - I have already sent her the link to your website as I think she would love your pieces and so would her customers! the area is a favourite of actors, authors, model types and even the editor of Vogue (who wrote a while back about the road the boutique is on as becoming the coolest road in Europe - but that might be going a bit overboard with praise!!).
i mentioned the boutique briefly here:

i will be popping into the boutique again soon and will definitely tell her to contact you!
samx
ps: if you spot any abandoned mattresses - send me pics - its always good to get international contributons...ha ha!
sorry - this is the link to the post about Love KR:
