foxy

i adore this fox print from Sara at Bark Decor.
and check out this fab foxy tattoo (from here)
which reminds me of this Martha Fox cushion
and this amazing jumper (spotted via design is mine).
haven't seen many foxes about lately..can't blame hibernation as red foxes don't - guess i just haven't been out on my bicycle at dusk much lately and they can't get into my garden anymore.

sly fox

mr foxy on Portobello Road
so happy that the new fence in my garden hasn't deterred the fox cubs....a bold little fellow came right up to my living room window the other night - but sadly i didn't have time to snap a photo.  i haven't managed to get a shot of any of my garden visitors any lately (apart from the colourful one above - spotted at Portobello Market under the Westway).  i managed to get my hands on a copy of An Illustrated Guide to Cocktails by Orr Shtuhl and Elizabeth Graeber - with this gorgeous sly fox on the front cover.
you sophisticated fox!

a great little boo - not only does it give you some beautifully illustrated classic cocktail recipes but also the stories behind their names (& i don't know if it was deliberate but the book actually SMELLS lemony!) - it will certainly come in handy on my new brekkie/alkie bar.

visitors of the foxy kind

conversations i've never had from harry draws pictures
i know foxes have a bad name these days (tho thankfully they are no longer worn round people's necks!) but i just love seeing them roaming the urban streets & gardens and am thrilled to bits that i have a pair of cute little cubs who seem to love playing in my garden at the moment.
my visiting fox cubs....

as its currently full of kitchen rubbish and new fence posts they're treating it a bit like an obstacle course and they kept me awake most of last night running around like maniacs and jumping up and down, tails flying and little ears silhouetted in the darkness.  as the sun came up at 4am i managed to snap a few (fuzzy) pics on my iphone - not great quality but you can see them and as they heard my phone clicking away they kept sitting and staring up at me - so cute!  i shall really miss them because, of course, once the new fence is up they probably won't be able to get in - tho i am sorely tempted (as suggested by a few friends) to create a fox-flap!  in the meantime i might need something to remind me of my little furry friends....

so i guess i might just have to get one of these lovely lush designs lampshades - they even have a new fox & cubs one, along with the original foxy version.
or maybe even a nice cushion, mug or tray....lovely.

my old friend Foxy...on Delancy Street, NW1
i started a new job recently and spend my lunch breaks pootling around the back streets of Camden Town - so i was naturally delighted to have spotted a few familiar faces!

foxy lady

being a city dweller, i always love seeing the urban foxes in London, it feels like a bit of nature creeping in from the country and taking over...usually while we're all asleep (they make a right racket in my garden in the wee hours!). naturally i have a fondness for anything foxy so am loving this dress by Jill Stuart (Fall 2011) spotted via a beautiful mess.  well, i probably won't be able to get my hands on the gorgeous dress but i have been wearing this cute foxy brooch from etsy on my winter coat lately.
PS (17.02.11): spooky, foxes must be in the air!  check out today's etsy uk newsletter also entitled Foxy Lady...with some cool foxy products for sale!!

SNOW!

today the long awaited snow arrived in mattressland and it continued to come down, but sadly not settle properly, all day.  despite it buggering up my commute to work and being bleedin' freezin'...i just LOVE it.  especially as it gives me an excuse to don my yellow snowboots!  now just check out these little foxes playing about in it...bless...another reason, as if you need one, to love these wonderful creatures.

foxy foxy

i've been spotting Mr Fox around quite a bit here and here and even in my garden and have spotted these fab photos by Martin Usborne (via Londonist) of a stuffed fox posed in various places around London...brilliant. i love that Martin is also the proud owner of a cute as a button miniature schnauzer...my dream dog.

on the prowl in kensal rise

popped out for a little bike ride today and spotted a couple of foxy foxes...not sure who they are by...hopefully not just some new viral marketing for estate agents Foxtons!  also stopped for a cuppa at Harvist Tearoom and had a chat with the lovely german waitress about our love for our bikes as she was admiring Onbie with all its new bike accessories that i purchased in my favourite dutch winkel HEMA at the weekend in Brussells. and later i spotted this little cutie................woof!
