and having always been into a bit of fiddling and furtling with all things crafty and creative... it seems that since my recent convalescence from a major op.....i have gone completely overboard.am wondering if this could be side effects of the anaesthetic or the result of removal of major body parts (lose womb/uterus/ovaries = gain super-crafting abilities) or am i just overcompensating for their loss (no loss to me....glad not to be a bleeder anymore)...to be honest its the lesser of the evils i've been experiencing - including insomnia and amnesia, aching bones and the attention span of a gnat...not to mention an increasing desire to move away from the city i love to a nice little cottage by the sea...with a dog....and lots of wool....oh dear......
yes i am rather partial to knitting at the moment and have created a veritable brood of chicks n'cocks lately....
and followng a request from Mickey to "knit me a girlfriend"....i have started with this fabulously tactile (and yes, very pink) knitty titty. he's going to have to receive his knitted girlfriend piece by anatomical piece....what shall i do next? i've seen a lovely pattern for a digestive tract...but somehow i don't think thats what he had in mind.
